Here’s Laura’s report

Despite a bad forecast we had an almost rain-free weekend at John’s Lee Wood campsite in Leicestershire.  However there were still some opportunities to get wet, either by competing in the Water Olympics or testing out the weatherproofing of the shelters that we built.

One of the highlights of the camp was the campfire on Saturday evening, in which we got to show off our talents as well sing the usual campfire songs. Other activities included laying and following tracks, two wide games and the naturalists badge.  We celebrated both Ed and Kim’s birthday while we were there and invested Owen into the pack.

And here’s a cinquain acrostic poem and picture by Milan
Camps.
Aerodynamic Arrows.
Making twists, mashing up shelters and mixing vaseline on Hamish’s back.
Personally I believe that cub camp is the best.
Superior fun.
