2021 involved a continuation of our Virtual Scouting but there was no way that we were going to allow that to stop us from Camping together! We had well over 50 members of the Group with us who enjoyed a day of activities, from muddy walks with family to scavenger hunts, pastry neckerchiefs and penguin races.
A great time was had by all, and whilst we can’t wait to get back to proper camps we think we made a pretty good go of it with the virtual one!
The Group took part in the annual NESST Challenge Walk at Walesby. A cold but dry day… which was great fun!
Please take a look at some pictures of the event
Thank you to everyone that took part or helped in any way.
A brilliant camp to celebrate 100 years of Cub Scouts. Lots of activities such as climbing, archery, wide games, assault course, the black hole, camp fires and many more! Lots of fun in the sun but a camp isn’t a camp without a bit of rain (which we had!). Enjoy the photos…

Hoods 40 (with some members from 6th Beeston) have arrived in Tokyo for the 23rd World Scout Jamboree and are enjoying some free time before moving on.
You can stay up-to-date with the Jamboree Unit by following Notts Scouts on Facebook and the Notts Jamboree Unit on Twitter.

Swashbucklers came to Beavers and Cubs tonight and taught us the basics of fencing. Both groups had a lot of fun, a great end to the summer term!
See you in September!!
