Uniform

Neckers

We all wear the 6th Beeston necker (provided by the Group at investiture) which is pale blue with a dark blue trim. There are also section specific tops that we wear.

Required Uniform

At 6th Beeston we require all members to have a uniform top (jumper for beavers and cubs, shirt for scouts) and necker, there other are “official” uniform items, such as t-shirts, trousers and a baseball cap, but these are not compulsory. On a normal meeting night jogging bottoms, shorts, jeans, or skirts are fine. Trainers are a good idea, as we like to do a lot of running around.

T-shirts and Jumpers

As the beaver and cub uniforms are jumpers, please wear/bring a t-shirt to meetings in hot and cold weather. This does not need to be an official t-shirt (see required uniform), but will either keep you warm or allow you can take uniform off when too hot.

Coats

Please also ensure you bring a coat to meetings during colder weather, even if you are traveling to and from the meeting by car as we often have outdoor activities as part of our section meetings.

Full Uniform

Occasionally we ask for ‘full smart uniform’ and by that we mean, smart black or navy school trousers or skirt and black shoes.

Label it!

Please ensure all uniform and clothing worn at, or brought to meetings and activities is clearly labeled with the owner’s full name to avoid confusion by taking home the wrong uniform item.
